New Jayco Members

Hello, Dave here. My wife & I have just placed our order in for a new 2016 29.5BHDS. It should be built & delivered to the dealer (in Ohio) around late January / early February. We are planning on picking it up in either March or April, depending on the weather. This is our 1st 5'ver as well. We sold our Rockwood TT then upgraded our TV for the 5’ver. We can’t wait for spring and start camping. We plan to bring along the 3 grandkids too. Got ‘a get them started early as the ‘next’ generation of campers. They are 2, 3 & 4 now.

Thanks,
Dave...

Welcome! Plenty of friendly advice here. If you have a question, someone here has usually "been there - done that - earned the merit badge."

Just remember - there are no dumb questions.

Welcome Dave! My wife and I are new here as well. We're taking delivery of our 2016 29.5BHDS this weekend in Tucson, and very excited with all the comfort and features we're getting in our trailer. We too, have a few grand kids in Wisconsin that we're planning on picking up and taking them camping next year. We're upgrading from a Lance TT and this is our first 5'ver too.

The good thing for us, our weather is now excellent and can camp in the Phoenix area to break in our trailer before next year's camping season. We are looking forward to learning from the veteran Jayco members here, in addition to sharing our experience.

Thanks,
Keith & Victoria

Congrats and welcome. The wait can be brutal but made better if you can plan a factory tour between now and then.

Well, we are practically neighbors. My wife & I live in Carver and we purchased our camper from Wholesale RV Club in Dayton OH. So its gonna be a Road-Trip when we take delivery in the Spring. We will be planning a camping spot or 2 for the ride home. Might as well start right away with our new baby!
