New north point

I was told by my dealer that my north point was going online 3/13. Does anyone know how long it takes? We have not heard anything yet and were told that we would have a vin number before it was shipped.

VIN is issued before it is built. Dealer should already have the VIN. It will be built in a day. Than ship to dealer within a week or two.

Thank you. I am going to call again and ask. I hate to be a pain, but since we were told we would be able to get the paperwork done ahead of time and now our dealer is acting like we are rushing them.

Ours went on line 3-2 and the Dealer called me 3-10 saying that it was in their lot. The vin# is established before it goes on line and it takes 3 days to make it. We went on the factory tour this past Monday and they put out 15 in a day, the tour guide said "no one can go home until all 15 are complete" we were very impressed with tour. What floor plan did you get?

If they put out 15 units a day, how did yours take 3 or 4 days?? My Eagle was built in one day, the 10th. It's waiting to be delivered to the dealer.

They make the North Point, Pinnacle, and the Designer all in the same plant and the assembly line can hold 15 units at one time. The tour guide said from start to finish, testing and all 4 days.

When we upgrade to a 5th wheel, the 377 will be our unit. Nice to hear it takes 3-4 days to assemble instead of 8 hours.

The dealer told me my 377RLBH will be coming off the line on March 20 and I should have it in the beginning of April.

Are you doing the paperwork before a good walkthrough. I would have at least a quick walkthrough and operate the slides several times and the awnings. Also look underneath and see that the seal along the bottom is in tack and has not be opened for any reason. By the way, my new North Point had only a few things that needed attention by the dealer when I took delivery and very minor problems that I have taken care of myself since then but I was glad I had a good look before signing on the dotted line. Just my 2 cents worth.

The only thing I'd add is to check ALL the USB ports. So far every single one of my USB ports have been replaced twice. As they break, I'll keep replacing them with the warranty, but when the warranty is up, I'll replace with something better.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I think we are going to wait now to do the paperwork until it comes in so we can see it first.

Good info. When you say "seal along the bottom" this means the enclosed under belly?
