New Owner

Hello Everyone,

Well I finally took the plunge and purchased my first RV, a 2011 30.5 RLS. I have been talking about it for quite awhile and ready to hit the road in the very near future.

My question is, I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 shortbed and need to get a hitch installed. Everything I see leans me toward getting a 15k Pullrite Superglide. Any suggestions or recomendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to the Jayco forum and congrats on your new purchase! You'll find a wealth of info here.

Regarding your hitch needs, you might find it helpful to look at this thread which contains dialogue on slider hitches.

Congatulations on your new home away from home. Make sure you use the slide feature on your new hitch when making any questionable tight turns. It can be rather expensive removing dents from the corners of your cab.

Yes... Welcome! You could go crazy looking at hitches; get the Pullrite superglide and be done wit it... IMHO best setup for short beds.
