A lot of people say that you need a slider with a 6.5' bed, or shorter, but that's not always the case. My very square-front Komfort would NOT hit my cab going forward at full lock, R or L. ALL will hit in reverse; the slider just gives you more room before you =do= hit. The Revolution, as stated, uses a wedge to keep the FW from turning on the king pin and, instead, moves the pivot back under the front of the FW, effectively making your bed "longer". The Revolution-style pin boxes will =not= work with all FW hitches, specifically the B&W Companions. They =all= come with warnings against using them with any pin box that moves the pivot point off the king pin. A lot of people like the Revolution-style pin boxes and a lot like a standard pin box. Personally, I'll stick with my B&W Companion... If you do decide on a standard pin box, make sure you don't trade it straight across, as the Revolution costs a whole lot more than a standard pin box. :-)
