North point basement. TV mount need help

I order the moryde mount that they would install in the factory.

Two questions

1.Can anyone tell me how far from the outside edge and how far from the floor is it mount. Looking for the bottom right side of your looking at it on the wall.

2. Is it just lag screws mount to the wood backing under the carpeted wall?

Any help would be appreciated. Last day of good weather before next trip and I want to get it in to night

Odd that your (Tom) outlets are on the bottom.
Mine are up top like hoojs'
I like them up top to stay out of the way.

I noticed that too. Wonder if they are low with the tv option installed and up high without. I'd like them up top as well. Maybe a modification is in my future

Mine are on the bottom too. Mine came with the TV installed, so Tom, I think you hit the nail on the head.

Hoojs, are your plugs really close to hitting the TV when you slide it?
Maybe so the cords don't get tangled on the mount?

North point basement. TV mount need help

Nope, I have the power cord run behind the moving part and I have the HDMI cord and the direct tv box velcroed to the back of the TV.

No interference.

I am looking at adding the bracket with TV to our unit. What can I use as the barrier to protect the TV from the rest of my junk in the basement storage. I know those with the factory setup have an extra wall, did anyone create their own? Are there brackets to add to the just put up a piece of plywood covered in felt?

Thanks everyone!

I am thinking of doing the same in my 2018 315. How did you build the wall on the other side of the TV and attach it? What wood did you use and how did you match the grey carpet? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

I don’t know if they are exactly the same anymore.
But here is one of them.
