Northpoint 377RLBH vs Pinnacle 37MDQS

Has anyone compared these two in person? What are the big differences between the Northpoint line and the Pinnacle line?

Is the Pinnacle 37MDQS a new floor plan or have I just missed it until now?

Thanks,
Josh

That model Pinnacle is new for '17. Sorry your post is the 1st I've seen that model. I have the 377, but haven't looked at the Pinnacle line.

The Pinnacle line is a step up from the North Point. We looked at both while at the RV show in Hershey. For instance, the Pinnacle is wider than the North Point. It also seemed as though the fit and finish was better as well as offering higher end luxury options... such as dual window shades throughout - UV day shades as well as black out shades. I'm sure there are other items that make it a step above the North Point.
It ultimately comes down to personal preference.

Pinnacle has Mor-Ryde 4000 suspension, and 6 point leveling is standard. Northpoint comes with 3000 suspension and 4 point leveling. Just to mention a couple more differences.

NorthPoint only has 6 point leveling.
Eagle has 4 point

If you option each one the same, the pinnacle is about $7,000 more than the Northpoint. The obvious differences are the width of the body and the rear fiberglass cap. I don't think that justifies a 7k price difference.

In the past, I have seen a document from Jayco that described the fundamental upgrades between the different lines. Has anyone seen something like this for the pinnacle vs the northpoint?

According to Jayco the finish is a higher gloss finish. The Pinnacle also has the electric power cord reel.

If the Pinnacle is not actually built any better, which I know it's not, then I'd go for bang for the buck. Spend the $7k on upgrades and other stuff. I've had a few high dollar rigs, but you see what I own now in the signature. Bang for the buck. They are all built relatively the same. You either get laminated walls, hung walls, aluminum or wood framed, high gloss or not, etc. Most will last just as long as the other if well taken care of. I did all my own upgrades, including the residential fridge, a LOT cheaper than purchasing a high dollar rig this go around.

Does the North Point have the same quality gelcoat as the Pinnacle? Doesn't the Pinnacle come with a Residential Fridge as standard equipment? Presently owning a Pinnacle, don't think I would be satisfied with anything less, but will definitely look at the Designer.

Every line has upgrades and standard option variants. Both North Point and Pinnacle have the luxury package, compare the line specific packages. We looked at all levels and personally decided on the Pinnacle. I thought I had the breakdown sheet between lines but haven't found it yet. For us, one big difference is the 78" entry doors compared to 72" on the NP and Eagle. I would tell you to spend some time in both and go with what you like, it's all in personal preference. Good luck with your decision.

Ok here is the big difference. 8 ft vs 8.6. Say what u want but anyone who ever owned a boat and than went up in width was like holly molley look at the room. Just like going from 28 to 30 ft Rv. So the price difference is in materials to make it wider and a few more upgrades.
