It would have cost me nothing had I traded my 5th Airbourne for the MR

I can't find any stickers on my MR.
Should I be able to clearly see the blue sticker or is it hidden behind something?
This is all I can find

Here's the reply from MR

Hi Damon. Your pin box is moving the correct amount that we like to see. The 11,000 means that it is good up to that amount of weight. There is nothing that we could change to make it any more efficient than it is right now. My recommendation is to keep it the way it is.

Thanks,
Rob Kolean
Service Manager

The sticker is either on the rear or on the inside for earlier models. Mines a blue dot about 3/4" in dia with a black number in it.

With all that being said my opinion is that yours seems to be normal. If mine with 4" is okay then yours with 3.5" should be good.
I would start looking at something else to help.

While driving.

I don't have to worry about too much brake gain ..hahaha
If you've read the last couple pages of Rock's "major brake problem" thread
I sort of hijacked that.
I basically have no brakes.

Sorry you are having problems. I have owned 2 of them and have dealt with the folks at the company. Never had any problems with the equipment or the service.
Kind of confusing.

Last time I hit the CAT scale the pin wt was 2860 and the Trailer wt total loaded was 13,280.

Trailer axles were carrying 10,420 for both.

Then we are very close... I think I'm a little heavier on the total. I definitely am when I carry water.
Why is it your fine and mine stinks.

I have no clue. I never carry but 10 gallons of fresh and maybe 15 gallons in 3 tanks for sloshing.

If I were close, we could swap trucks for a few years?

Then you won't have any trailer brakes.
You will get better mileage though. My 06 never got good when towing.

Truck has 73000 miles on it. I couldn't have had a shock issue between me taking my SOB in and picking up the NorthPoint.

Looks like my slider travel is within spec.

My conclusion is the 5th Airbourne is a better hitch.
Do they weigh and are they loaded exactly the same?

They are for sure loaded the same.
I am about 4-500 (haven't weighed it) heavier on the pin and probably 500 heavier.
I certainly sagged more on the rear, I used to just touch the overload springs before, now I am compressing them.
So I put in Timbrens and I am not even touching the over load springs now.

I forget now but I think I only took it out only once with the Timbrens and that was the time I had to take water with me. The chucking was noticeably less then. That's why I mentioned the water issue with less chucking.
Maybe it was the Timbrens and the ride height that made it better?

I'm stuck in winter mode now and can't take it out for a more thorough exam.

Klassic, have you tried nosing the trailer up some? I have noticed a level or below level trailer seems to buck more.

If that's true Redbird, then what I said in the post above about raising the the sag of my truck with Timbrens and getting less chucking might be the key to a little less chucking.

Still though, it's not as good as the 5th Airbourne was.
