NP 381 DLQS-Delivery News????

Anyone order the 381DLQS hear that they will be ready for delivery soon? I was told by the Jayco Rep ours was to come offline June 1st. Haven't seen much talk on these forums with a delay on that model, but a lot of others.

Not to burst your bubble, but ours NP 315 came off the line may 15th and is still waiting on a driver, if it doesn't find one this week I'm backing out. Hope you have better luck than I do.

Is that per JAYCO or your dealer? Just an FYI JAYCO doesn't ship unless the dealer pays for it.

That's from the jayco rep, and of course he used the holiday last week as an excuse and then you see posts on here of units in transit last Saturday. I was told they can sit up to three weeks or more waiting for a driver, like I said I. Bailing after the end of next week. It's bs for a unit that's ordered to sit that long.

Agree, but unfortunately delivery companies are independent operations.

I realize they are independent transport drivers but who hires them, Jayco or the Dealer? I heard of a dealer not far from us that has there own transport. The Jayco rep. tells me they put us on a high priority to ship out. So who is making the decisions which ones go out first of specific models?

Neither. The drivers work for a shipping company(there are several) which has a holding pen for the units. When a driver is available then the unit ships. At one time JAYCO had their own(JET), but that was back about 5 yrs or more.
