On demand hot water

So we, the wife, thought that 6 gallons of hot water just wouldn't cut it so we went to Camping World and decided on the Atwood on demand unit. 48 hours after installation it crapped out. After 2 return trips for repairs we had them pull it out and put a new 6 gallon unit back in. Turns out Atwood is having major problems with the units and can't make replacement parts fast enough. Camping World in Burlington treated us very well and resolved the problem to our satisfaction. Bottom line is to avoid the Atwood on demand hot water heater until they get the bugs worked out.

I have no desire for an "on demand" system. I like being able to use park power for hot water vs my propane. I do have a tank much larger than the 6 gallon which I am thankful for. Even when my ex is taking a shower I don't run out of hot water even on electric and with her using it, that is saying something.
