Online Class or Training

We are first time RV owners of 2013 Jayco Eagle 31.5RLDS. It is exciting and scary at the same time. Is there a class or other information online that would make us feel more comfortable prior to going on the road?

you can purchase Valterra part number A02-4000 "RV Orientation DVD" off Amazon for about 16 bucks.

Have you watched it? Is it any good?

I spent most of my time before purchase watching vids on Youtube and cruising the forums. While not a very time efficient way to learn (I get sidetracked easily) it seems to have familiarized me with most of the problems I'll encounter...

If someone told me the video was worth watching, I think $16 would be worth the price of admission.

Why not try 'camping' in your driveway? It is a great way to make sure everything works properly and if you have any questions about something you can always ask on the forum.

Also it would help if you did your maiden voyage with a friend who's experienced with RV's/trailers. I'll be doing the same in May with a friend who purchased a 28' trailer as his first camper. We'll work on making a checklist for him custom suited for his needs, and go over it several times during the trip. It gives me an opportunity to fine tune my checklist as well.
