Ordered new 5th wheel!

We have been looking at new campers for about 9 months. We have an old (wildcat)
that we are using now so we are in no hurry to get a new one. We were at a family reunion
In McComb Mississippi back in April. Went by the Jayco dealer there and looked at the 5th wheels
up close. WOW we were impressed! So now all we had to do was pick out a model at the right price.
We shopped at 3 dealers in Louisiana and Mississippi. They were all about $50 dollars or one anther
for the same model with the same options. But were almost $6000 more than the Internet prices
I got! Two weeks ago we were camping at the lake (Toledo Bend) when I met a fellow camper with a new
Jayco camper. He told me that he had got a great price at a dealer in Alexandria La. (Cenla rv)
So on our way home we stopped and got a price on a Jayco Eagle 33.5RETS that was only $2000 more than the best Internet price! We have now ordered it and are anxiously waiting for it to come in.
They say about 6 to 8 weeks

It almost always pays to shop around, even if it means you have to travel a bit. We shopped the internet dealers, with about 1,500 mile trip, a dealer about 300 miles away and one 150 miles away, there weren't any closer. Ended up going to the 150 mile away one because his price was only about $2,000 more, with a couple more options, than the internet dealer. Figuring travel, we were probably about a wash. Congratulations on your new FW, enjoy it.

That sounds like my story. We didn't order one but found one (33.5RETS) in Macon,Ga., that we liked. we brought it home on the 30th of May. Looking forward to putting it to use. We had bunk house pull behind. This will be our first 5th wheel.
Congratulations on yours!!

Just wanted to find out how you are liking your new 33.5rets. We just purchased the 2014 version but from TeamRV Inc. in Albany, GA. We have made about 10 trips in it already. Had quite a few items to get fixed which was really unusual with Jayco. This was our third new Jayco but first fifth wheeler. We really enjoy camping in Georgia. We live just above Cordele. Where are you in Georgia? We are loving this rig and going to Cotton Hill on Lake Eufaula for a week beginning this Sunday.
