Angry osb smell

We just bought a new Jayco 5th wheel (22 years old)
It smells of smoke and not sure what else.
Had it professionally inspected, no signs of leaks.
My wife can't go in or stay in it as it sets off her asthma.
There's osb flooring covered by tile in the bathroom/hall/washer dryer areas, we think it's that.
We think the worst of the smell is coming up from under the trailer in the storage areas.

Questions:
Should I paint the storage areas with oil based primer?
Would you recommend Kilz or Zinsser B-I-N? (or something else)

Is it standard practice to have used osb on the older 5th wheels? I'm thinking it was put down due to some leak/water issue. Would it have been originally all plywood?

appreciate any or all ideas and suggestions.
