Outside bracket on 2011 Jayco Pinnacle 35LKT

This post follows my first a few moments ago in the new owners forum to say hello to all. But now I have a question.

We purchased our like new 2011 Jayco Pinnacle 35LKT this afternoon that was on consignment with Camping World. The salesman was very helpful on most questions but was uncertain on this item: The camper has a horizontal bracket, roughly 20 to 24 inches long, attached to the exterior entry side near the rear of the unit, which I believe is for a barbecue. This makes sense as a gas line is found below the bracket and under the unit with a female quick connect fitting.

My question is, since the Pinnacle has the bracketIf would a barbecue have come with the unit when it was first sold? Or, is it simply there for adding an optional barbecue.

Looking forward to your ideas and comments.

Thank you.

Don't know about the Pinnacle, but our 2004 Designer has a similar bracket at the front, for the grille. It was technically an option, but came standard with the Medallion package.

Go to Jayco.com and look under archives. You can look up your year and model to check what the standard options were. Also very useful to check out the specs of your unit

We did not order the BBQ with our Eagle but the bracket was included anyway.

Thumbs down

2013 Pinnacle came with bracket and hose. Grill was an option that I didn't order. Can't see grilling that close to the side wall splattering grease and the fire and heat potential.

good luck

The RVQ which goes there is useless. I've had better $19.99 Wally-Mart BBQs.

I wouldn't want to BBQ that close to my rig. My Pinnacle has that bracket too, but I didn't purchase the optional BBQ. I personally don't think it's a good idea.

Congratulation's on your LKTS Pinnacle, we sure love ours !!!

Our Pinnacle has the BBQ bracket too but we have no BBQ Grill option so no grill.
Putting the Grill back there on the LKTS is a bad idea.

Our 2005 Eagle came with a RVQ Grill and the mount for the same type of bracket, it was not a very good grill, did not cook good and was hard to clean.

We have a Weber Baby Q and love it.
