When I first got the problem the service manager and i looked under a bunch of trailers trying to see what might be going on

Yes there are many different configurations but they all have one thing in common. A 1 1/2 inch hose the is the over flow. a smaller vent hose and a low point drain. Put a plug or valve on the big hose and the water loss stops.

I put a valve on my overflow tubes, tired of losing water after filling up the tanks

I probably over-did it by extending the hose and putting the valve under the propain compartment but it sure is nice to just open the door and turn the valve to keep my water.

I like that idea, I might add an extension to mine, would be more convenient

I had water running out from my bottom liner where the vent hose comes out after my first fill. Was thinking what is leaking, the flat rubber hose was under the bottom liner. Some how they never pushed it thru. Got lucky on that one
