Pinbox question

My trailer came with a Leland 7910 and I have seen these different pinboxes you can install to combat chucking. So far I've found the 5th airbourne, Demco Ride Glide and Trailair. Just wondering if it is worth the money to purchace one of these or should I just get used to it?

Mor/ryde fixed my chucking issue. Plus, same company on my Eagles suspension. Great product and support.

Chucking = trailer jerking truck back and forth on rough roads. Mor ryde pin boxes are worth their weight in gold! Also, Curt Q5 fifth wheel hitches have rubber in them to help with the chucking! I highly recomend a Mor Ryde pin box!

I also have Mor/ryde pinbox that I installed works great! I recommend switching and less money than some of hybrids. Very easy to rebuild if you ever need to but I would recommend calling Mor/ryde and ask them for the pinbox model # very helpful. When I ordered mine I ordered by the number that was on old pinbox found mine was mislabeled and replacement was 2" to wide very expensive to get correct one with freight charges today. When ordering get length, width, and size of bolt holes plus # of holes. I hope this helps.

Our old 5er would chuck a lot until it was loaded. When we took it home I was really unhappy because it chucked so bad. After it was loaded most of it went away.

My 5er has a Mor/ryde which was factory installed so I have never towed it without the Mor/ryde. No chucking here so I guess it works <smile>.

pinbox adjustment

My fifth wheel is riding a little high in the back, I've adjusted my B&W hitch as high as possible. Is to possible to adjust the pinbox lower to balance the ride? It appears to be set as high as it will go and there are some holes that look like they might offer a way to bring the pin down a bit.
