Red light on Fantastic Fan

There is a red light on our Fantastic Fan which indicates the rain sensor is off? How do I turn the rain sensor on? Should that light be off or green or ???

Just found it hold the down button for 3 seconds.

That's how it goes on and off.

I just called Fantastic Fan. Didn't see your post, Grumpy. Yes, that fixed the problem.

How about if your FF doesn't have a rain sensor? We appear to have the 5250 model (no rain sensor) and we see a red light glowing up next to the fan blade. We've only had our Greyhawk 3 months, but we can't recall seeing that until this past weekend. Owners manual gives no indication. Unit is operating normally, but concerned about unwanted power draws when we're boondocking. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I'm curious about that red light too. It shines through the plastic fan shroud. My FF does not have a rain sensor, and I'm pretty sure that fans don't need a pilot light....

That’s just an LED on the circuit board that is behind the shroud.
