Probably. Call Reese, and verify, but it looks like you may want this replacement wedge:

I would call Pullrite, because Reese may say no and that you need to buy there hitch!

I have both of those and works fine, unless I'm misunderstanding things. Your hitch a slider? Mine is not. I have no reason to "unlock" the Revolution pin as my truck is a long bed. So, just having these two is ok, but can't say if you are using it with required wedge installed.

Looking to purchase a new 2017 Eagle HT 24.5CKTS that comes with a Reese Revolution pin box. Can anyone recommend a good hitch to use with the Revolution? Would anyone consider the Andersen Ultimate 5th wheel hitch? Thanks

Yes, Etrailer.com recommends the Reese 16K hitch as well, so sounds that hitch was made to work with the Revolution--thanks for confirmation.

For what it's worth, here is a pic from my dealer's Facebook page showing a Reese Revolution with a ultrashort/ 5 1/2 foot bed truck.

Thanks for pic--we've got 6.5 ft. bed so I'm thinking Revolution will work fine.

The pull rite is nonsliding. Called Reese and there is a custom wedge for different hitches. SWW-09 for the pullrite. Ordered it from E-Trailer.com for $50 and will recieve it in a couple of days.

How is the ride with the Revolution and the 8ft bed? I just bought a new truck with 8. Ft bed and already had the revolution ordered for the trailer.

2018 HT 27.5 RKDS with Reese Revolution pinbox 6.5 ft bed has Reese Titan 16K hitch non slider. Does 90 degree turns with no problem.

Never having any other truck /rv to compare to, this combo is fine. On our last outing I did find that I can jackknife the trailer (fifth wheel) enough to have it contact the aluminum toolbox behind cab. My backing guide waved me off before any damage, and it may not have been an issue at all on flat site.

I was considering a Revolution/Sidewinder as I moved to a SB SRW from a LB DRW. I hooked up on the weekend to make sure I can get the fiver out of it's parking spot beside the house and at 30deg (max req'd to get onto road) angle I had plenty of room still. I could probably go past 45deg with no problem. The rear corner of the box got within 2" due to the change in levels. I never turned very sharp with the LB, too hard on the trailer wheels and suspension. If I need to go past 45deg I'll just pick another site.
Is the a change in loading on the 5th wheel hitch with the Revolution due to moving the pivot point back?

I put the new wedge on that goes with the pull rite hitch. Just used the 5 th this weekend for the last time of the year and still have a hell of a time hitching and unhitching. The wife is furious and wants me to change out the hitch to a Reese. It's really nerve racking after spending good money on the pull rite.

I thought it was just me having hitching issues with the revolution. I have a CURT non-slider and sometimes the arm won't fire back to show I am hitched - other times, the first try. It definitely seems to help if level, or real close to level.
I have the generic wedge and thought the custom wedge may be the difference, but if you have tried and still no luck...
Anyone have some great advice on hitching with the reese revolution hitch, or in general? This is my first 5th wheel.
thanks

Oops, I was referring to the lube plate. Not sure what a wedge is then.

Granted I'm not using the Revolution in it's pivot mode, but have very little trouble hitching and unhitching from my PullRight. Often, to get the release handle to let go I have to chock the trailer wheels and back up an inch to take pressure off. Then handle releases easy.
