We were wondering about the foam type and why radius corners. Our mattress that came with the Pinnacle only has slightly rounded corners. Are the radius corners only at the foot of the bed? By adding a topper to the thicker mattress do you have issues with lifting the bed to get to the storage underneath?

I was looking at the size mattress that I have in my Grayhawk29MV and remembered that a friend who owns an Airstream TT had some mattress's made by the following company. So I thought I'd share the website address for anyone who's interested.

Personally the worst bed I ever slept on was a sleep number.. I kept rolling into the crack between the 2 air chambers.. talked to SN about it many times tried every thing they suggested and no joy.. so I sold that to a member here and bought a memory foam from Costco... much nicer..
Oh a word of warning with SN.. if you go to the mountains make sure you let the air out of the bed before you travel... the change in air pressure might rupture the mattress

Go to IKEA, you can get a totally awsome chamber foam mattress, full size queen. for about 300. Lay it on top of the short queen coil innerspring that probably came with it. Incredibly comfortable, so much so I had to buy a second for in the house( DW has residual back issues from traffic accident)

Here's what we have and we absolutely love it. It's fairly lightweight and very comfortable.

We went to our local furniture store and ordered a new mattress. We measured the old one and gave the store the dimensions. 3 weeks later it came in. The Mattresses were on sale even on special order. There was a $20? dollar fee for special size. and no frieght I don't remember which one we got but it is sooooo much better than what we had.

We bought a Sealy mattress from Costco and did not use the box spring. Very comfortable 13" thick mattress for a reasonable price.

We just ordered this mattress. It was the only one that claims made in the USA of USA and Canadian materials. Some of the Chinese ones had complaints of bug infestations !!

I replaced my mattress with one from these guys. Let me tell you what a difference it was. If you want to have some great people to deal with please call. I have rounded corners on the lower half and could not find anything that I liked and the person hat I talked to was a great help.

They had me measure the old one and helped me select out the foam and cover. I did not even think about the cover, but they told me that it would be good to use a cool-max cover that is zipped so it can be removed and cleaned.

The mattress cam in only 5 days from Colorado to California. It arrived FedEx and was rolled and packed in a small (6 foot by 18 inch box); I opened the box and found the mattress rolled in a paper with tape holding the shape.

Took inside the RV laid out and removed the packing to find the mattress vacuumed pack in a bag. Opened the bag and look out the mattress expanded out to the full 11 inches thick in lest then 5 minutes.
Let me say, if you are thinking about a new mattress think about t giving MattressInsider.Com a call. And also there was free shipping.
