Retractable TV Mount Fail

I have a 2015 31RETS with a retractable 50" TV that the mount has failed. The inserts literally pulled out to of the back of the TV so now I am on the hook for purchasing a new TV and modifying the mount so it does not do this again. Just received this unit in October and it was damaged upon receipt. Any others have problems with retractable TV's?

Why isn't warranty covering it? It's between the bumpers for 2years.
