Revolution on older Eagle HT's?

In reviewing the Jayco archives for older HT's I noticed that in 2014 Jayco did not offer the Revolution as an option. Anyone know why? It's back for 2015 and later.

And...back when I got mine (2013), there was chatter that one had to order a Revolution from the factory, that you couldn't later put one on. Something about them beefing up the frame a bit. Anyone know if this is an "old campers" tale, or not?

Not familiar with Jayco but on another fifth wheel when we went to a MorRyde pin they recommended we go to the manufacturer with the vin and make sure.

It may add some stress to the frame with the longer pin.

Called Jayco on another matter, so asked. The sales person I talked to was unsure why they weren't offered in 2014, but he did confirm that when they get an order for one with a Revolution, they also have to make sure the build has different frame components. He referred me back to my dealer to find out if non-revolution models could be retrofitted.

I'm betting it was purely a business issue - Reese probably tried to hold them up for more money and Jayco said "fine we'll discontinue them." A year later, Reese comes crawling back with a better price. Happens all the time in industry.
