rotating tires
I got an new 321RLTS Jayco Eagle, I got about 3200 miles on the tires, Do you rotate trailer tires like you do on the vehicle or leave them alone. If you do rotate them , what tires goes where.

I rotate mine clockwise each spring and I inspect the brakes and grease the bearings as well. That's just me.

I always thought, when rotating radials, one had to keep tires on the same side they were originally mounted on so the same tire rotation is maintained.
Pulling everything off yearly so one can inspect brakes and bearings is wise.

NO... unless there are arrows on the tire stating it must roll this way... there are different rotation patterns for FWD vs RWD.. I was asking my tire dealer when I put new shoes on the truck about that.. and esp the myth that radials should be kept on the same side always...

The links you provided didn't really tell me anything (radials were not specifically mentioned) but I did some digging around on my own and you are correct that rotation doesn't matter most of the time. As you said, some tread patterns are directional and those tires will have a rotation indicating arrow on the sidewall. Apparently things have changed since radials first started becoming popular (yeah, I know, I'm giving my age away).
I stand corrected (no...wait...I'm sitting).

I never rotate the trailer tires. Never have had a problem.

Trailer tires neither steer nor power the vehicle so I believe that leaving them alone except for religiously checking the air pressure is the key to maximum trailer tire life.

Well said. I am always looking for ways to save energy and not rotating tires would be one of them.

Only reason I consider rotating is because the left rear TT tire takes such a beating backing into my driveway.

I never rotate trailer tires. Just make sure they have the right pressure and replace them every 4 years no matter how many miles they are towed.

I agree with previous posters; I never rotate trailer tire since they do not power or steer. I just maintain proper air pressure.

Rotation
I never rotate cause the sidewalks will crack long
Before the treadwear becomes a factor. With that said,
I don't use trailer tires cause they stink. I use
A straight rib symmetrical tread light truck/commercial
Tire one weight rating above trailer spec. And I balance
Them. No blowouts, smooth ride, no 65mph limit.
And on top of that, my treads are one of the few that
Are made in the USA!
