Rubber seal under slide out

We picked up our new Eagle 321 RSTS Friday. On Sunday we notice light coming in from under the large slide out. Not just in one spot but three. I went outside to take a look and the rubber under the bottom of the slide out has been ripped in three locations and on one of them was wrapped inside the trailer.

Has anyone else had this issue? We are not very happy and hope that the cause of this was due to the slide out being opened in freezing weather at the dealers.
We will be calling them tomorrow.

We have camping booked for the 20th and the following three weekends. NOt very happy about this.

Sounds like your bottom rubber seal strip dried out and got ripped when the slide out was operating. You'll need to have it replaced under warranty. While you're there I would have the tech inspect all seals and replace them all, if possible. This way, you know they are all new. Easier to keep track. These seals get dried out quickly and should be inspected and lubed every six months. I've seen people used both dry lube and baby powder. I'm thinking BP would be less messy and oily.

I had one of mine get caught up in the bottom and ripped a section off. Dealer ordered and replaced under warranty. Don't let it ruin your trips, you will likely be back several times. Just make sure it is reported to the dealer.

I spray mine with clear silicone spray and wipe well to get grit off, then wipe again. Several times a year.

We lube ours at least twice a year and so far have not had any problems.
