RV Owners

I,am new to forums including this one. I have owned, over twenty years, campers, trailers & three fifth wheels. I have owned Open Road,Layton,Terry, & two Keystone products. One thing I have learned over the years is that dealers and there service departments maybe the most accessable and easy, they may not be the best. If you have any doughts, call directly to the manufacturer of the item. This includes roofs, axles, brakes, frames and anyother item in your rv. For best & correct care and maintance advise of your rv items, call the manufacturer.
Iam reading on these forums, roofs especially, about care and maintenance products ,I must speak up. Most RV roofs are EDPM or TPO and both manufactures of these say. Most treatments will not hurt the roof it will not extend the life of the roof. The best care is to clean it, as needed or regularly, with a non petrolieum or non citrus based soap (Dawn or Crystal White dish soap).
