Schwintec slide bracket

During my PDI I found the left slide forward lower bracket not properly connected. I am curious if anyone else has the same issue. With slide stopped about one foot from full open u can see the brackets that hold the Schwintec Assy to the FW side frame. On mine the el side of the bracket u can see is very short and one of the two lag screws is drilled half off the bracket edge. To replace the bracket it looks like slide would need to be removed. I certainly hope that does not need to happen. Jayco sent a bracket to dealer to repair but I am not sure it will be a added doubler over the bracket. I am hoping that is the case and slide is not removed. Between slide bracket and slide roof wrinkles, main bed wood frame damaged (looked like it got chopped with an axe) gray tank water valve cable takes two hands to move and couch covering rear heater vent Jayco did a poor job of quality control on mine. Not sure who to blame brake issue on but my bet is the Delievery guy

What did they end up doing about the heating vent?

My couch was bent on the left side and took two people to open. They had to get a new one (two other dealer stock had bent ones also). They bolted the new couch back as far as they could and vent is now just a tad out from couch. I will see if it blows hot air at the couch material and if it does I will make a deflector. At least it is not half under anymore. Both other ones on lot were several more inches to almost a foot forward. Almost like they randomly cut thru floor to install vents in the heater duct. Been following ur Moreride chucking issue. I installed air bags in my truck since it would drop down on the top overload spring. Still had room before it would hit the bottom overloads. It seemed to ride smoother like that than adding air, but wanted a leveler ride. 20-30 psi seems the best but I have only gone on two trips. I will get a chance to play with air pressures on my summer 3k trip. How does ur truck ride on concrete not towing? Even with Bilstein shocks mine will bounce on some roads and with my TT hooked up it would get worse.

I haven't had a lot of seat time towing with the Timbrens, but when I mentioned in the thread that it towed better carrying water, I now realize it was also the first tow with the Timbrens.
It doesn't sag as much now. The chucking was reduced, but not to the point of the old 5th Airbourne.
The truck ride is pretty stiff without the trailer. I sure don't have any bounce.

With your couch pushed back to the wall, will your cushions stay velcroed?
Mine keep coming loose, because they are so fat they are pushing on the wall.
I can hear them coming off, after pressing them on as hard as I can.

That's funny.

Yank the cushions off (all of them) then put them back on and don't put a ton of effort into it. Then wait for a bit and see if they have come loose.
For me to keep them there in their proper shape. I really have to put a lot of effort into it. The DW just pops them on lightly and it doesn't cut it.
I'm not sure if everyone has this problem, but the first time we used the bed and the cushions went back on I thought to myself, this is what they hyped as new upgraded furniture??

I like the furniture covering in the designer. But the bathroom toilet in my model in the designer is stupid. They added a cabinet and moved the toilet almost to side wall. I am a skinny guy and just trying to sit on the lid ur leg is touching the wall. Like I said pretty stupid unless it was cut in by the same guy who did my heater duct

Can someone look at there slide brackets and see how they were screwed in place. You can see them from inside when slide is not fully open. This is how mine was installed. Kitchen Schwintec slide forward lower bracket

Mine are more centered and do not have oblong holes as indicated in your picture. I have 2 brackets on each side. Upper and lower.

WOW. Jayco just called me back and said those little brackets are just something they add for more support and all the dealer needs to do is add a screw in the middle. They already called the dealer and told them what to do. They said that it could be left as is and no problem so Jayco has documented that. Thank You Jayco for great customer support. When was the last time u have dealt with a company that said they would call you right back and actually did.
