You can get a plexiglass solid piece from Jayco that attaches. It allows you to leave the door open for light when the weather is mild.

We removed the screen from ours and installed a solid material called Velum, similar to what is used on pool enclosures. It does the same thing.

We bought the panels from Jayco to fit the screen door. They had a thin plastic sheet
in them.I carried them to a glass company and had 1/8 inch plexiglass cut to fit the
frames. That works l lot better at keeping out the heat and cold.
