Secret to replacing vinyl around windows?

I'm looking for help/advice. I've replaced the vinyl coverstrips around my windows once already and they are coming out at the corners again. Is there any secret to getting them to stay in and look nice? The directions mention caulking at the joint where the piece meets but that hasn't been an issue. The straight sections seem fine; the corners are giving me fits!

Thanks for any ideas,

Hello Sunrider - those strips are always an issue! In the past, I think I used a dab of caulking to keep them in...
