Sewer hose carrier

We just purchased a new 2017 Pinnacle KPTS. To our surprise there is not a storage area for our Rhino sewer hose. The compartment on the unit is only about one square foot. Totally unusable. Has anyone else come across this issue?

Isn't your rear bumper hollow? I keep nearly 30 feet in my Eagles rear bumper.

EDIT: I googled a picture and see that you have no rear bumper....

beautiful rig though.

Beautiful rig but it has no bumper. I'm keeping the hose in a plastic container in the storage bay but would prefer to not use the space for that. It doesn't seem to have a good spot to hook up a storage tube either.

Yeah, I see that. You'd think that's something they would have accounted for. I'm sure someone here will have a solution.

Welcome to the forum btw,

The best I could think of is to mount a holder under the unit. I have seen a folks do that.

On my 2013 KPTS the compartment on the side goes through a small door and I am able to fit a 15ft Rhino Flex hose with fittings on both ends. I am thinking the compartment is around 15 "x8"x8". It took several tries to figure the method to get the hose in but it does fit.

TNCraig, I would think you might need more than 15' of hose.

Fabricate a holder with PVC under the unit...side to side. Just need to find a way to mount it underneath. Not even sure it's an option but, worth a look.

For 90% of the campgrounds that is more than enough. I keep a 10 ft extension in a small container in the storage compartment. Also rinse with hot water before I store and use end caps.
