Slide Question

New owner here needing some advice from you pros. In the near future I will need to temporarily park my fifth wheel on a street that has a fairly good incline to it (Won't even unhitch it from my truck). My question is about extending my slides. Will the slides be ok to extend and retract since the fifth wheel can't be made level while parked on the incline? Just worried about the slider guides binding or something like that. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Personally I wouldn't deploy my slides if I weren't pretty close to level. There may even be a warning in your manual about leveling prior to deploying slides. Your best option (and that's shaky at best) would be to FULLY deploy the slides on an even keel and then move the 5er to where you want it. You should only do that if you absolutely have to have the slides out on the hill. I'd be for finding a different workaround.

Not only is opening the slide a concern but so is running your fridge if you are running on propane.

Exactly how far off level is the street? Maybe you could put leveling chocks under the wheels on the low side to make it level?

I seem to recall a warning about being even when operating the slides. I wouldn't do it personally.
