Slow flow on both grey & black drains

When using the dumping area for the first time on our 36FLSA, it seemed that the flow from all drains were very slow compared to what it was in our previous motor home. Just wondering if anyone has had the same experience?

Our 2008 Jayco motorhome is slower than our previous two motorhomes of a different brand.

Our new Designer is a lot slower than any other camper we have had. Not sure why.

Sounds like a vent problem, if its sized right it should flow real fast.

I also notice that my new 317RLOK drains slower (Black and Gray) compared to the travel trailer I had before.

To see if you have a vent issue, with a FULL or HALF full black tank open (for air) your TT door or roof vent and Turn off your city water supply. Have someone stand by the toilet. Go to your black tank drain, open the drain and when the tank is draining have the other person flush the toilet and hold the lever down. If the water now flows faster now, there is a Venting problem, if not it may be some new design problem by Jayco.

For the GRAY water you will need to clear out a sink drain (no water in it)to test the GRAY tank (empty black water tank). With no water in the p-trap will allow more air into the gray tank
