Well actually the last 2 flushes have not been bad. Did a full flush yesterday and filled 1/3 with water and 3 chem packs. The forst few uses stunk but now it seems good.

Went on the roof and only see one vent over my bathroom. Do gray and black share a vent? Also the vent caps are screwed into the roof of the RV. And I cant really get my fingers up under it to feel an opening.

Had the same issue last season. Fan on or off the blow back during flushing was shmelly!. Using the black tank rinse did nothing. A couple of pails of water down the toilet cleared it up. It moves the solids to the exit. Always try to do the double flush to help the problem.

You might try some of the green packs. I have also talked to people who use a product called Happy Camper and they swear by it. I haven't used it cuz I use the green packs and have not had any "real" problems with it.
