Snappads- anyone using them?
Was thinking of getting a set of Snappads for the ground pads on our FBTS leveling system- anybody got them and if so how do you like them- or not?

I asked the same question a while back. No one seemed interested and no one had them. On another forum I used to frequent when I had a SOB trailer, they were well liked and quite popular. They are kinda pricey though

I guess these are mostly for 5th wheels... It doesn't replace the requirement (I have) to put boards/lego blocks under all my jacks so I'm not really seeing the benefit on a TT or 5er. I guess I don't get it?

So far the only discount I found was for a previous sale at Christmas. They are pricey but I am thinking about getting them- maybe I'll wait till this Christmas and see if they have another sale. If anybody knows of a discount please do post.

I have them on my Northpoint 351RSTS They are great I would highly recommend. I had an issue with one of the 6 pads and they overnight shipped the replacement to me at no cost. Great customer service So easy

It doesn't appear these are made in a version for the square stabilizer jack pads on our TTs. Really cool product, would love to have had some to keep my wimpy jack pads from sinking into soft soil/sand. Boondocking doesn't always offer stable hard ground like campsites do. Just saying there might be another niche in the market for you guys. Always happy to "test" equipment lol

My Snappads showed up yesterday. They are quite substantial / heavy, much more so than I recalled.
They are well packaged and come with clear / concise installation instructions. They are very specific in that they want you to hook up to your TV and install the front two first, then disconnect the TV and proceed to install the rears.
I'm not sure why they want you to do it this way, but for lack of any better reason I chose to follow the instructions.
After you lower your supports to near the ground you simply place the Snappad underneath the foot and use the weight of the rig to snap it on. I was pleasantly suprised to find that they went on fairly easily with only one requiring me to adjust the position slightly and give it a second try.
Another thing that I really like is that once they are on they are not so snug that you can't rotate them so if you suffer from a condition that makes you want to align everything perfectly like I do you can. I also use a hose to test water retention. They drain as advertised and no more water stays on the foot than would without the pad attached.
While I don't think this product falls into the absolutely must have category I feel it will protect the foot and also my concrete driveway. There was always something I didn't like about just dropping the metal on the ground and so I always used a lego block underneath the foot and this will save me from having to do that.
The product is well made and installs easily. I imagine I could get them off if I chose to but it would take some doing and they are certainly not going to fall off or easily be stolen.
The price is fair for what you get and the fact that they are very heavy and shipping is included in the price. I found the company responsive to my initial inquiry and without a doubt would purchase the product again.
