I can only speak of the one I own. I have no issues with my tire minder system, I like it and depend on it.

Same here. Many are reliable. Mine is a TST system.

I have a Tire Minder. It can be a little confusing to set up but there is a great set up video to watch at Camping World. If you still have a question you can call the Tire Minder support number. Their phone support is 110%

Does the TST 507 need metal valve stems to use? I know I'd like to have metal stems installed, but don't have them done yet. I'm guessing its ok to use the system for a short period of time before upgrading to metal stems.

Yes, I would go with metal prior to using or your valves will move and release air as you drive on the Aluminum rims.

The factory metal rim valves seem to take more abuse.

When I put mine on the factory stems they leaked just putting them on.

I took a few trips without the metal stems and decided to change them out after a short while. Advance auto parts had them for less than $2 each. I purchased 12 and had them all swapped out trailer and truck. I had the trailer tires balanced at the same time. The valve stems have already been used on 2 sets of tires, they don't go bad.

OK, I've done enough research and after calling TST directly, I ordered the 507RV. I mentioned to them I was leaving for a trip and needed the system by this Thursday and asked about cost for 2-day shipping. TST said they would cover the cost and guaranteed I'll have it this Thursday!

Another TST user here. Easy set up, and no issues with it so far. I also like the small screen as it doesn't take up much dash / windshield space.

EDIT: I have not changed to metal valve stems and haven't noticed any air loss so will continue 'as-is'.

Force, good-to-know. Did you get the model with or without the Flow-Through sensors? I decided to go without, I like the smaller sensors.

I have the flow through ones.

They do stick out a bit, but I wanted the ability to quickly top off a tire w/o needing an Allen wrench to remove them from the stem first.

Then again, I've only had to add 3-4 psi to one tire when I first installed them. They've all stayed, per the sensors, at 78-80 psi cold ever since.

This is my next big upgrade and have narrowed to TST and Tireminder. Either way I want the non-flow through sensors. Looks like TST is the favorite.

I just upgraded from 7-year old PressurePro to TST 507RV. PressurePro served me well, but batteries were dying, and I wanted user-changeable batteries and flow-through fill capability.

Since this thread is fairly recent I want to share my recent experience with TST Truck Systems.

I have the TST 507 flow through TPMS System. They are currently 2 seasons old. I have another year warranty left on them. Nope, I'm not complaining :-)

For some odd reason my Receiver/Display started to randomly detect my sensors, if at all. After performing the recommended suggestions to activate the sensors thinking it was them, it turns out it's the Receiver/Display.

How do I know? Bev at TST sent me a completely new system Express so I would have a working system this weekend when DW and I depart for 3 glorious weeks of camping, FINALLY.

From the time I contacted Bev, until the new system arrived, 2 days passed. I'm in Canada!!!

Anyway, I saw this thread, Have made recommendations pertaining to TPMS systems in other threads, Specifically TST because I did my homework as well to figure out which system to go with. Bev proved all that I had read about TST and their support.

About Valve stems, Heres my post about the solution I went with. http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f1...tml#post362903

Note: I'm watching those rubber stems really closely and am happy to have a working TPMS again.

Now to ship back the parts I did not use, and the broken Receiver/Display.
