thermostat

Hi...we just got a 2013 Jayco Eagle Premier 5th wheel which we are wondering what the 2nd thermostat is for. It is a Honeywell thermostat and also there is a RV Comfort thermostat beside it, which we know how to operate that one. But for the Honeywell thermostat, we have no idea what it is for and we just don't want to turn it on. Can anyone help with as to what it is for?
We've had it for about 5 days now and we just love it!!

Welcome to the forum.

Sorry. I really don't have a clue about your thermostats. Hopefully someone will be along soon that might help.

In our 2014 Eagle Premier there is a thermostat that controls the exhaust fan in the ceiling. It takes a few seconds for a response. The vent opens and the fan starts. There are controls on the fan itself so you may have get up there and check the settings.

Maybe check the Honeywell to see if it is connected to anything.

The ceiling fan is the other possibility. The RV comfort is the standard for the AC/ heating.

I have a 2013 Jayco Premier 321RLTS. The white thermostat is for the ceiling fan (fantastic- fan with lid). It will open the lid and allow the fan to be used.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new to you Eagle premier. Hopefully you have been able to figure out what is controlled by the 2nd thermostat. The first thing that came to my mind is a 2nd A/C unit if you have one. Other than that or ceiling fan like others have mentioned, I haven't a clue. Have fun with the Jayco and post pics if you like. We love to see them!

The thermostat for the 2nd ac would be located nearer to the 2nd unit.

It's the roof vent fan and cover.
