I went with the same system plus the repeater and it works flawlessly for me. Definitely makes me feel safer knowing what those tires are up to.

Your post was what led me to it, lol. Seems like a good system, time will tell I guess.
I did notice temps are off by about 10-15 degrees, confirmed with a temp gun. But that doesn't really bother me. As long as all temps are consistent and in line with each other, I know I'm good.

Rubber is an insulating material. It is likely that the tire surface is hotter than the air in the tire. The sensors would be measuring the air inside the tire.

Not doubting you, but my temps seem to rise in stop and go traffic, which I assumed was the heat off of the brakes, and sensors were reading temps outside of tire.
If it is truly reading temps from inside tire, why the increase in stop and go? Seems temps going down highway would be higher?

Mine seem to stay fairly consistent, but will show slightly higher on the side of the RV receiving sunshine. Perhaps the sensors themselves contribute a bit to the temp flux.
What's the highest temperature you've seen. I think on mine it was 106.

Mine are consistent as well, within 3-5 degrees of each other.
Hottest I seen was 106-108 and that was in stop and go traffic in 95 degree heat. On interstate with same ambient temperature running 68-70 I was seeing a consistent 95-100, with pressures around 88-90.

My tire on the inside Rear Drivers is usually 5-10 degrees warmer than the rest. Under vehicle exhaust that exits in front of the rear axle and travels down the drivers side of the frame. When we start out in the morning... they are all the same. Factor in exhaust temperatures too.

Moving at a speed above 15-20 mph may help cool a tire due to the airflow over it. I've noticed a couple of times after driving highway speeds and stopping the temp will increase slightly. The tires on the "sunny side" are usually warmer too.

I've had great CS from TST also. I would have an occasional sensor drop and TST had me try several things including taking batteries out of my weather station. Finally the lady said you send back your current system and we'll ship you a new one and include a free repeater!

temps are also partly due to sun on the exposed unit itself

Yes, you definitely notice a slight difference in temps with the side catching the sun.
