Tire problem

Is this divot in the side wall a problem?
I have it in three of my new tires

Probably not. It's an impression left over from the banding of tires into a stack while they are still hot, and seems to have no effect whatsoever on the performance or life of a tire.

Have them on 2 of our 3 vehicles. Friend owns a tire shop and he would never let me drive with something unsafe.

I'm thinking the dealer did it.

I've haven't been near anything high enough to hit them on.
