Tire wear

What would make one tire wear quicker than the other three?? These are The Maxxis tires.

There can be a number of reasons.

For me, I decided it is how I always back into my driveway. I get a lot of tire scub, and it is very visible on the street.

But could be improper inflation, loose bearing, and the tire wobbles. The axle is out of alignment, bent axle. I'm sure there are a few other reasons I'm not thinking of right now.

Bearings good...tires inflated to max cold..if bent axel the other side would show lots of wear. The wear is even like it should be. Just that one tire is worn a lot more than the other three.

Lots of things can effect tire wear.

Poor inflation/over inflation.
Defective tread
Out of balance
Dragging brake
misaligned axel, bent axel,

Take it to a tire store on the trailer first, then a trailer dealer for the axel and brake checks

Others may have better ideas.

Is your trailer carrying a load on that side? Cat scale?

Another consideration not mentioned is that your leaf spring is not bent, broke or incorrectly mounted. If a leaf is bent it would be the non issue tire on the same side.

As stated there are too many variables and best to have some techs look into it who are experienced in this. Warranty?

had the same issue... took it to an alignment shop that works on trailers and big rigs - $120 and an hour later it was fixed.
