Tripped Breaker

I have a 2007 Designer series and I guess too many appliances were plugged into the kitchen power outlets and the breaker tripped. On further investigation, after unplugging everything, I can't even get the breaker to flip back on. It stays "off". Do I need to replace the breaker?

Did you push it all the way off first? Some need to be reset that way.

Yes. I pushed it all the way off several times and it still will not stay on.

Yes, bad breaker. You can get them at Home Depot or Lowes, bring the bad one with you to make sure you get one that installs on the bussing the same way.
