Question Uneven Window Shades

Have a 2008 Eagle Super-Lite. Shade over the couch is now uneven, one side lower than the other by about 2".

They are the style that has 2 strings on each end which meet at the bottom of each side..

Does anyone have a trick or link to get them even again? We backed out the screw slightly where the strings join at the bottom, but got nowhere.

No manual in our Jayco packet.

Any help is appreciated.

They do that so when the sun shines in at an angle the shades appear straight.

Try pushing them all the way up, make sure the side strings are the same tension. Then move them down with a hand on either side. The very wide ones can be a pain.

With my day/night shades all I do is pull them down about half way, grab each end of the shade, carefully push up on one end of the shade while at the same time pulling down on the other end of the shade until straight (level).

If none of the above works, remove one side string, level the shade, then install the string again. Be very careful about using too much force as the string can break.
