UPDATE: 365 BHS factory - warranty work

Lots of updates for us and our 365 BHS. Just returned from the Jayco Factory, where they fixed and/or corrected all of my fivers issues. The repair to the rear bumper and surrounding vapor-barrier came out better than original; although, it was the service departments second attempt (the first attempt was a patch job, NOT to my liking. I explained that I would expect a patch job from my local RV dealer - not one from the factory).

They also acknowledged the condensation issue due to the oversized wiring duct and closed it off with expanding foam. All of the trim / molding pieces affected by the moisture have been replaced. No obvious signs that mold turned up.

It took longer than expected, but, overall it was worth the 1800+ mile round trip.

According to the factory records, the bumper was "repaired/replaced" prior to leaving the factory. When I got the unit home, I had problems with the living room slide (search thru my other posts to read further); while I was belly-crawling underneath the rig, I noticed poor welds on the bumper attached to the frame. In addition to the poor welds, I discovered the vapor barrier and bottom covering had been melted adjacent to these poor welds. The melted area had exposed the wood and subframe for the rear bedrooms. Water had been traveling thru these exposed areas and settling in the bottom covering. This moisture, when coupled with the heat from the furnace, created too much moisture that warped our trim pieces and left a mildew smell.

I am glad to hear that they treated you well and did what was necessary. Best of luck with your trailer.
