Update to Truck and RV Totaled Coming Back from Pigeon Forge

Well the insurance company finally settled both claims (truck and 5er) and the checks were deposited. Did not take to big of a hit on depreciation because both were less than a year old.

Got a new truck 2017 Ford F250 Gasser and will pick up a new Eagle HT 27.5 RLTS on Friday. Totaled 5er was a 27.5 RKDS. It was fine, but got tired of having to drag the recliner out in the middle of the floor to watch TV. No problem now. RL has two recliners and a third slide.

Thank all of you for your kind comments on the first post. Looking forward to getting back on the road again. We already have a trip planned for Feb. We are mostly winter campers.

Glad everyone is ok and this worked out well for you. That is always a nightmare scenario. We had one of our campers hit by a head on driver last month. Fortunately, he missed the truck and folks and slamed down the side of the camper. It will be a long time before they get back on the road. Where is Crane Hill might I ask.

What insurance company do you have? Sounds like they are a decent company.

I love those Haylett RV videos!!! They are a great way to narrow down models. Congrats on the fast settlement as we have USAA/Progressive too.

Checked out the video you linked.
That's nice.

fowl8717.....Good deal and glad you guy's are OK. The wife and I purchased a 2017 Eagle HT 27.5 RLTS this past September. We love it and can't wait for the warm weather to come and the snow to disappear here in upstate NY to use it again.
