Used Designer and generator question
I just purchased a 2000 Designer xl 3610. I want to put a onan generator in it but don't wanna spend a fortune buying a new unit and install. I was looking at purchasing a used onan 5500 and was hoping you could help me in determining which ones I should be looking for and what I should steer clear of. My unit does not have the prep package so any pointers on that would be appreciated as well. Trying to stay under $1000 to $1500 total but was quote $4000 for new gen and $750 to install hence the desire for used.
