Water in outside kitchen

Hello, Need help with small problem with outside kitchen on 2011 27.5 bhs Eagle h/t FW . Water is getting in from somewhere, have gone over the seal with great care, applied a silicone spray to keep it soft. However I did notice that the rubber gasket has the end gap at top of door ,not at bottom as (IMO) it should be located. IS this an error or do some of you have this same problem. At times there can be more than an 1/2" of water in the bottom of the compartment, a concern for water to enter the wall of the trailer. Is there a way to change the door pressure against the seal( change locks ) or rig a drain to the outside of the trailer? Any ideas , just want to be safe and protect our rv.
