Water pump question

We bought a new 2012 30.5 BHLT about 3 weeks ago. We have not gone on an official camping trip yet, however, we've been trying things out in the driveway. I do have a question about the water pump.

We put water in our freshwater tank and tested the water in the kitchen and bathroom sinks. We never cold get a steady pressure of water to come out of the faucets. The facuets just 'spit' water. Also, we took out the bottom kitchen drawer so we could see exactly where the water pump is located. It makes NO sound. Should I be concerned.

Not sure if yours has the valves and hose at the pump to winterize, but double check it. The valve should be closed so the pump pulls from the tank. If you put your hand on the pump you should feel it running. It should only take a few seconds for it to prime and start pulling from the tank. If in doubt, call your dealer and ask him about it and if he is close go by.

Basically you should hit then switch, it will prime and shut off, and you are good to go.
