Run/Test everything before each trip.

Picked up my Eagle HT 27.5 BHS Oct. 2013, the furnace did not function. We learned as all campers know - have a back up (electric heaters). Factory kinked furnace gas supply hose - dealer repair. The bunk house is a sauna - Jayco told the dealer to adjust air flow with a wad of insulation. I remover the grate under the refrigerator because the master bedroom was cold - the plenum was not sealed - dealer used aluminum duct tape. you probably got the cream of the crop since you got the extreme package. The two year warranty is great.

We had the same problem with a kinked supply hose but it was to our hot water heater. We are loading up this weekend to leave Monday for a week in Savannah, GA. Beautiful city if you ever get the chance to go there. We will be staying outside Savannah at the KOA in Richmond Hills.

We've camped a few times in below freezing temps. I have the fresh water hose with the heater cord in it...I've used it twice and it works like its designed. Bought it on Amazon.

Winter Camping

We have the water shut off in our campground in Oct. and go up 3-4 times a winter and just carry some drinking water in. North West Wisconsin get kind of cold over the winter months. We were just up a few weeks ago and it took about an hour to go from freezing to comfy inside with the furnace and the fireplace running. Hope you enjoy your winter camping cause we do.

We're headed to Edisto Beach SP this weekend, as long as the street thaws out enough for us to safely get to the main road.
