Windows

What's your guys is thoughts on frame windows versus the frame less air flow on the frameless is real bad .we r looking at a eagle ht 26.5 rkds but it has the frameless window and if we order one that has the framed good air flow we don't get as good of a deal .so what I was thinking is buying windows and reinstall frame windows in it as long as the holes r the same size any one have any thought thank you

We passed on a TT that had frameless windows because we were concerned with inadequate air flow through the unit.

I can't speak on the HT's but the Eagle frameless don't open far, but there are lots of windows. Also most of them can be left open in the rain. My 2017 Eagle 293RKDS has a shocking amount of windows and they all open but one small window. My trade trailer only has three windows can be opened in the rain. The rest can't. We ordered the 293 with dual pane windows, which changes nothing on how they open.

RV windows are expensive after the fact. You may be able to haggle the windows with the dealer. Another concern would be if the dealer installed them, would they be sealed correctly and not leak and destroy your side walls.

If you order a 2018 unit, it may or may not be an option to get framed windows. 2017's have the option but 2017 ordering is closed. Haggling with the dealer on a stock unit is easy, ordered unit pretty much not. You may save money by ordering or maybe you can cut a good deal with the dealer on the stock unit with them including the framed windows.

The airflow of frameless windows certainly is less.
However, it is also nice to be able the leave the windows open and rarely have to worry about rain coming it.
If I had my way, I would get the old style windows that had several panes of glass "slats" that all opened from one knob.

I love our frameless windows. Can't imagine the times we've been camping in humid rainy situations and not being able to open the windows. I think they look better, clean easier, and as far as airflow goes I'm satisfied. I can pop open one window in front and kick on my Fantastic Fan vent in back and you can feel a breeze rollling through trailer. I also like that I can open the dark tinted windows and still not compromise privacy.
