Wired Wrong

FYI to all. Just had an incident with my Eagle HT 27.5 RLTS 12v accessory socket beneath the control panel. Found out the hard way it is wired backwards. It burned up two phone chargers before I figured something was wrong and could get back home and check it with a volt meter. Seems the center pin in the socket is wired as the ground and the socket sides are positive, opposite of the proper way. Just annoying for something brand new.

Another wiring reversal

I had the same issue on our 2013 EAGLE 284BHS when we first picked it up in Indiana. I plugged in our 12VDC Coleman Cooler/Heater box that we keep in the truck when traveling and after about an hour I went to check to to see how cold it was and it was WARM inside. Checked the plug to insure that I had the proper selection for COLD, which I did. I then pulled the old Volt/Ohm meter and the connections were reversed in the accessory jack. I switched the wires in the jack and the cooler worked as expected after that. Glad I went to hook the cooler up the day before leaving.

Probably the same person that put all the stickers on the TT did the electrical connection. Not a single sticker is level!!!
