Congrats but I have a question. Seems like Jayco is really talking a lot lately about how fast they can build a trailer from start to finish, so why does it take so long to get one special ordered. I know there is transportation from the factory to your dealer and all, but 4 1/2 months seems like a long time. I can only assume the wait is for previous orders for the 2012's from dealers, etc.

We had a delay getting ours. Bad weather and the winter holidays.

Congrats!
We ordered our 30.5BHLT in July and it was built about 3 weeks later. It then took another three weeks to be transported 7 hours down I90.
Look everything over really close before taking delivery, we had a lot of little things (trim, loose wires, etc.) that needed to to be fixed. Then camp close to home for the maiden voyage.

We also purchased our Jayco by order. It was a long 6+ weeks to wait for it (we picked it up down the street from the factory, so didn't have the additional wait time for shipping). We loved the wait. Well, sorta loved the wait as we reallllly loved actually picking it up and camping in it finally. Any plans on a maiden voyage yet?

I am ordering a new Pinnacle and my dealer said 4-6 weeks.... 4 - 5 months sounds like not the right answer.

Our dealer gave us the option of delaying the build and allow the new trailer to escape the brunt of this upcoming Nebraska winter. Since we are not snowbirds (yet) we thought this was a good idea! One less year's accumulation of snow, ice and freezing temps made sense.
