You know I'm starting to get P???????????????

Here we sit in AK for the night on our way home from AZ. After blowing 2 China bomb tires in 8 days and doing with damage and spending $1500 for good tires, the Schwinteck slide won't go out, always has been under powered, the Atwood Level Legs never has worked, the Estone sound system remote doesn't work and the TV remote has to be with in 2' of the TV to work and the ceiling above the dinette is dropping down and who knows what will be next.
All these issues have except for tires and ceiling were supposedly addressed by the dealer before we left in Jan .under warranty.
The Pinnacle is suppose to be the pinnacle of the Jayco line isn't it?
This is on a 2013 less than 1 year old!!!

WoW, they should either give you a new unit of give you your money back. Time to seek some outside help if you know what I mean. Those were after taxes $$$ that paid for that unit and you put a lot of trust in Jayco.

Hope it all gets resolved when you take it back to the dealer...a safe balance to your trip without any further issues!

I'm hoping you have your needs met with all these issues! Pretty unfortunate and incredibly frustrating!

Sorry to hear this. After 30 years of towing our 4 different TT one thing I learned is that OEM tires are best seen as space savers for actual real tires.

Wow that is crazy. Hope you get everything resolved. I think i would be ranting also, after dropping that much on a pinnacle and having to readdress a problem the dealer was suppose to take care of.

Wow, sorry for all the issues with you Pinnacle.

We have had a few issues in the last 2 1/2 years living in our Pinnacle fulltime but overall it has held up very well to daily use and being moved to a new location about every two weeks.

Sorry for the wrong State abbreviation.
Anybody ever take a Trailer back to factory for warranty work? Can you bypass the dealer and go direct? It's only about 200 miles and probably the best avenue.
Thanks for letting me vent.

I don't see why it would be an issue. Jayco dealer is a Jayco dealer.. Factory repairs should be no different.

Some more local camping trips might have been in order to catch all of the problems and not be in somewhat stranded situation.

I learned alot about my new trailers sitting in the driveway at home or camping in the back yard or our local State park we love only 45 minutes away from the house.

These are the places to learn of the issues. I didn't change tires right away but did do alot of changes with the battery system so that I could survive successfully when camping off the power grid. I can trust my batteries now and hopefully won't get caught with poor slide operations etc...

We are pretty successful now on our outings and have learned what PLAN Bs are all about... Just jumping into a long trip sight unseen always ended up bad for us. It did take planning for us to get to this point.

Sure hope you can get all the problems taken care of...

Roy Ken

I'd call ahead! Don't know if they can just drop everything and take care of you. But they might, I'd call though so you don't drive all the way there for nothing!
Wishing you good luck. Jayco is a good product, but you are buying basically a house. Even brand new houses are known to have problems that need to get worked out! Again,
GOOD LUCK!

Historically Jayco corporate will initially direct a customer to an approved Jayco service center (dealership, etc.) for warranty related issues.

I do know that on occasion Jayco will perform warranty service work back at the factory, but this has been a on a case by case basis. Depending on the warranty work being addressed the turn round time via the Jayco factory may take longer do to factory scheduling constraints.

I would contact your RV dealership and see if they can arrange for the factory to address your warranty items....., if this doesn't materialize then contact Jayco Customer Support directly and explain your situation.

Bob

This wasn't our first trip. We went to Canada last Summer for 2 months and returned unit to dealer for warrenty work upon returning. Still have same issues as before returning it to dealer.
What changes did you do to your battery system? I have 2 and they barely last overnight dry camping if the furnace runs a couple times.

take care
