154BH Opening Emergency exit windows????????

We're trying to open the emergency exit windows but for the life of us cant get them open.
Good thing there isn't an emergency! We know they should be able to open since they do have screens on them.
Have the bar out, cant push it straight though the slot. Its like the window is locked somehow.

Sorry for the silly questions, but we are on our shakedown camping weekend.

So did you just have to push harder?
How you got it may be useful to someone else.

Glad you're good to go.

Yup, I put my weight behind it and pushed harder.
I figured since that's how it works, it was all I could do.
But I was careful not to bend the aluminum arm.

After being closed for X amount of time the rubber sticks to the window frame... just push hard as you found out..
