174BH TV Installation

Does anyone have any recommendations on what TV size I should install in my 174BH. I am also looking for the best method. Wall or ceiling mount? Is there a preferred bracket I should use?

Any info will help, thank you.

15-17" and use wall mount.
DO NOT use ceiling mount!
Pay Jayco dealer for the installation, they know where are the studs and they will do it right.

Hello, call Jayco or send them an email asking for the schematic drawing for the TV installation location. They will email you a copy of the proper location and the blueprint of the wall and the plywood backers size.

This reminds me. I need to drop off a TV wall mount for the bedroom to the dealer prior to taking delivery later this month. I haven't picked one out yet either but I see Amazon has a ton of them. I'm going to grab the highest rated one they have(within reason).
I plan on mounting a 22-26" TV. The dealer said they'd install it no problem. I think he may have mentioned no charge!

Hey Bullfrog. Did you ever find a solution? We'll be picking up our 174bh next month and I was wondering where to put a TV. How do you like the 174bh otherwise?

Not sure if this is helpful, but we have a small free-standing flat-screen we just put on the kitchen counter. We can watch it from the booth or turn it to watch it from either the bunks or the bed. When we move the trailer we stow it between the booth and the bed in some blankets.

Smile TV mount in 174BH

Mounting my mount from the underside of the overhead cabinet. Installed a 3/8" piece of plywood in the cabinet and drilled four holes through the bottom of cabinet and piece of plywood. By installing tv hanging from under cabinet, you still have some counter space to use. My tv is a 19" with a dvd player built into the side of it. Mount can swivel to so that you can see tv from anywhere in the rv.

When I had my 184BH I ised a 15" with a stand and put it on the counter. Prior to trading it I was toying with the isea of a flip down 15" that I would have mounted under an overhead cabinet.
